George (Sonny) Schreck, age 76, of Kettering, passed away on March 18, 2014 at Walnut Creek Nursing Home. He retired from Standard Register after 47 years of service. George was an Air Force veteran and life member of VFW Post 9927 and a member of American Legion Post 675. He was preceded in death by his father and mother, George and Vera. George is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Sueko; three sons, Greg and wife Melissa, Gary and wife Teresa, Ted and wife Heather; sister, Sally Schutzler; brother, Michael Schreck; sister, Kathy Fahrney; 6 grandchildren, Jacob, Trent, Emily, Evan, Nate & Shane; and numerous nieces and nephews. Special thanks to best friend, George Hellwig. George loved to golf and spend time with family and friends at Brookville Lake, Indiana. Family will greet friends on Friday, March 21st from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Reis Legacy Center Meyer-Boehmer Chapel, 6661 Clyo Rd., Centerville. A Prayer Service will be held at 9:15 a.m. on Saturday, March 22nd at the funeral home. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10:00 a.m. on March 22nd at St. Albert the Great Church. Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery.
