Grace E. Nugent, 91, of Centerville passed away on March 4, 2014. The oldest of nine children, she was born to Harry and Marie Luehrmann on August 13, 1922. Grace graduated from Good Samaritan School of Nursing in Cincinnati, OH and went on to serve in the United States Army as Lt. Grace E. Luehrmann during World War II. She, also, received a BSN from the University of Dayton. Preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Nugent; sisters, Dorothy Behan, Henrietta Breier; brother, Rev. Stanley Luehrmann. Grace is survived by her children Paul (Joanne) Nugent, Kathleen (Edwin) Gerhard, and Eileen Nugent; grandchildren, Claire and Molly Nugent, Sarah and Thomas Gerhard, and Tyler and Ian Wright; brothers, Henry (Josie) Luehrmann, Joe Luehrmann, Paul (Betty) Luehrmann, Bill (Phyllis) Luehrmann, and Gene (Joan) Luehrmann. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Albert the Great Catholic Church in Kettering on Saturday, Mar 8th at 12:00 p.m. Burial will follow at Heritage Hills Cemetery. Visitation will be held Friday, Mar 7th from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Reis Legacy Center Meyer-Boehmer Chapel, 6661 Clyo Rd, Centerville, 45459.
